Excel XLERATOR 40551 ADA Height XChanger Retrofit Panel

The Excel Dryer XLERATOR® 40551 XChanger is an ADA-height stainless steel retrofit panel designed to convert an existing paper towel dispenser and waste receptacle opening into a modern XLERATOR or XLERATOReco hand dryer installation.

Fabricated from heavy-duty 18-gauge type 304 stainless steel with a #4 satin finish, the XChanger allows facilities to upgrade from paper towels to high-speed hand dryers with minimal wall repair.

Retrofit Your Paper Towel Dispenser Opening

The XChanger is engineered to install over the footprint left behind by common paper towel dispensers and waste receptacles. This minimizes wall damage and reduces the need for costly patchwork during renovation.

When used in conjunction with the 40502 ADA Recess Kit, the XChanger helps facilities meet ADA 4-inch protrusion requirements in restroom walkways.

ADA Height Configuration (Part #40551)

The 40551 model is the ADA height version of the XChanger.

The opening to the unit is positioned approximately 7 inches lower than the standard height version (40550), allowing the recess kit and hand dryer to comply with ADA mounting requirements.
