The surface-mounted XLERATOR XL-W-ECO exceeds ADA 4-inch protrusion limits and is not ADA compliant when surface mounted.

However, the unit becomes ADA compliant when installed with a compatible hand dryer recess kit and mounted according to manufacturer guidelines.
